John F Kennedy College in Wahoo, Nebraska

This post is a follow-up to my original published way back in 2015, so please check that link out for the history on the building, etc: link to the first article about the JFK

I have recently been asked by a few people if I had any strange paranormal experiences there, so I wanted to just write a quickie article. I also have more about the school in my book as well. But I wanted to open this up for discussion in case any of you had any experiences there?

I have been there a few times, and I have heard some clanging in the buildings, but then they are so old it could be just from the decay. This is common in these places, so I honestly cannot say one way or another. I have never had any feelings of unease, besides the feeling of being unwelcome by the neighbors. If you have been there, you know exactly what I mean. Every single time, I have received death glares.

The police are never too far behind. If you put a toe on the grass of that campus, expect to see the police!

I understand they are only doing their jobs, but part of my job is writing about this stuff. We are not stealing or vandalizing anything. We only want to document by taking photos and/or write about it.

“If we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity.” -John F. Kennedy

This entire campus is absolutely breathtaking.

  1. Not forgotten. We held a JFK College reunion in October 2019. Groups of alum have attempted to purchase the property but the owner chooses not to sell and instead allows the, once beautiful, campus to decay.

I think it’s amazing you guys get together and remember the good times on campus! I wish they would sell it and try to save at least parts of it!
