- July 11, 2024: Thursday Speaker Series at the Kansas Oil Museum, located in El Dorado, Kansas, featuring Trish Eklund sharing about Abandoned Farms and Homesteads of Kansas via PowerPoint presentation. The turnout was excellent, with extra people standing in the back. The audience was interactive and engaged.
- October 21, 2021: Local Authors’ Spooky Stories at the Francie & Finch bookshop, located in Lincoln, Nebraska, featuring authors: Joel Green, Trish Eklund, and Tayden Bundy. Each writer shared experiences and interacted with one another and the audience.
- August 28, 2021: Local Author Day, Summer 2021, Authors featured: Trish Eklund, Dave Mainelli, Bruce McCoy, Francis Schepp Ruh, Matt Schur, Francis Rourke.
- April 2021: Francie & Finch bookshop, located in Lincoln, Nebraska, book release event for Abandoned Farms and Homesteads of Nebraska: Decaying in the Heartland.
- November 14, 2020: Local Author Series Highlighting Nebraska writers at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum, located in Ashland, Nebraska, featuring several authors, including Trish Eklund. Each author spoke at the podium about their books, displayed and sold books, and other merchandise.
- 2019: First Friday Event and book signing at the Francie & Finch bookshop, located in Lincoln, Nebraska, featuring Abandoned Nebraska: Echoes of Our Past. The bookstore also displayed and sold photo prints, framed prints, canvas prints, and hand-painted signs for over a month.
