My husband and I came across this church on our way home from Norfolk after visiting another location along highway 30 between Columbus and Fremont Nebraska.
The time of day was ideal for photos. This location is next to someone’s home, so if you do find it I suggest asking permission.
They did not appear to be home, so I snapped some quick pictures. The place is right off the highway nestled in the trees.
The first church I ever came across, I was jumping up and down (on the inside) about finding this place! I think my husband thought I had finally lost it. 🙂
The windows were still in tact, so it appears someone is still looking after the property at some capacity.
“A house that lacks, seemingly, mistress and master,
With doors that none but the wind ever closes,
Its floor all littered with glass and with plaster;
It stands in a garden of old-fashioned roses. “-Robert Frost
